By using the ancient Japanese marbling process known as suminagashi, our Ukiyo wallpaper collection is a contemporary take on the classic floating ink technique. Our designs were handcrafted in-house using traditional ink, water, and paper, then digitally transformed into compelling murals. Like its Japanese namesake, our Ukiyo collection features suspended microcosms that were captured before dissipating. After its introduction, Ukiyo was recognized with a number of accolades including best contract wallcovering by Interior Design magazine.
